South Asia Christmas Festival (Mela), Dec 12th, Sp. Events Center, Garland from 3PM-12PM

Nov. 28, 2009 - PRLog -- Dallas, TX: Christmas is a festival which is celebrated all over the world by both Christians and non- Christians alike. Many times people celebrate this great festival without knowing its true meaning. Majority of them this is a time to party and to spend money on gifts. Well, while there is nothing wrong with having fun and buying gifts, Christmas is much more than this..

So what is the true meaning of Christmas? To answer this question a group of 25 + South Asian churches from DFW area have come together this year. While you will have a great time enjoying a variety of foods, songs, skit and dances, you will also hear a great message that will help you understand the true meaning of Christmas by world renowned speakers such as Dr. Ramesh Richard and Krish Dhanam. Additionally, there will be an inspiring concert by the famous Bollywood singer Vijay Benedict, who is specially flying from India to attend this event.

For sponsors,  If anyone is interested in setting up a non-food booth it will cost $150 each (2 booths for $250). This event total cost is estimated around $25,000. To cover these expenses, we introduced raffle tickets with some great prizes (Two round tickets to India, Pakistan or Europe (sponsored by Wilson Travel), Laptop, Digital Camera, and 10 $20 Gift Certificates).
