New York, New York-As part of the local New York City landscape, Manhattan Mini Storage is proud to continue their long tradition of holiday giving by hosting a seasonal toy drive to benefit Partnership for the Homeless. Providing local help for the homeless this season could not be easier; from Friday, November 27th through Wednesday, December 9th, anyone can drop off a new, unwrapped toy at any of Manhattan Mini Storage’s seventeen locations throughout the city.

Local NYC; How to Help the Homeless?
“Just come by, drop off a toy, and we’ll do the rest,” said Stacy Stuart, VP of Marketing for Manhattan Mini. “As a family-owned and operated, homegrown business, we’re always looking for ways to benefit the local community in New York besides being great storage advisors. Partnership for the Homeless is an amazing organization – we’ve been working with them since their inception in 1983, and we plan to do so for a long time to come.”

As of August 28, 2009, there were over 37,000 people--including over 9,000 families and over 16,000 children--in New York City Homeless shelters. Partnership for the Homeless is committed to building a just and equitable society and creating lasting community change through local solution-oriented programs and policy initiatives that eliminate the root causes of homelessness.
