Actors' Reading for new TV Pilot Series

Dec. 1, 2009 - PRLog -- 'Scottsdale BLVD' had the pilot episode reviewed and read by local Phoenix actors last Saturday at the Montelucia Resort.  Approximately 8 actors/actresses met the creator and producer of the new TV program as well. The project is still in its early stages of development. This was the first time the script was read by anyone outside the 'war room'.

The response of the actors was excitement and enthusiasm. Aside from a minor director-type changes, the flow and set up of the episode was strong and everyone was eager to come back for a follow-up reading. "There's nothing like this on TV now" ... said by one actor as the session wrapped up. "Great characters, how did you come up with these people?" another participant inquires.

Randy Morchower will consider the few small changes to the flow & direction and arrange for a follow-up reading in the near future. The staff at the Montelucia Resort were very generous and gracious in hosting the reading. Randy Morchower hopes the resort can be a fixture regarding future readings, castings, and perhaps even filming.
