Digi Time Capsule, is a women owned and run company by mom-preneur Sherri Morris of Chapel Hill, NC.  Sherri Morris started the company in 2007 with the first product release one year ago, December of 2008.  Since the first release of the My Pregnancy Digi Time Capsule, Morris has proven strong leadership in the community, created programs to help military families and non-for profit organizations, gives back to her community through local children's sports organizations and volunteers by coaching children's baseball.  Morris also helps other women entrepreneurs grow by teaching them lessons learned as a mom and entrepreneur.  Morris is also a part of the Make Mine a Million Organization where women entrepreneurs support, grow and learn from each other.  

In an interview with Morris, she was asked what she would like to see for 2010 to keep her business growing.  Morris replied, "Well, I'd like to be on the Shark Tank -ha-ha- Seriously, Damon, give me call!  I would love to take the company to the next natural level by getting shelf space in some of my favorite retail locations like Mothers Work, Buy Buy Baby, Babies R Us and quite a few more.  2010 is the year that I will concentrate my efforts on retail placement now that two of my products are completed and retail ready.  I am very honored to have awakened to the e-mail with the award notification.  It’s such a nice surprise to know that all of the people I have tried to help with my company have been recognized.  I really truly appreciate it.  Thank you very much for everyone that has loved my products, given them great reviews and has supported my “Operation Support a Military Mommy-to-Be Program.”  I look forward to great strides in 2010.”

The SBCA 2009 Award Program recognizes the top 5% of small businesses throughout the country. Using consumer feedback, the SBCA identifies companies that we believe have demonstrated what makes small businesses a vital part of the American economy. The selection committee chooses the award winners from nominees based off information taken from monthly surveys administered by the SBCA, a review of consumer rankings, and other consumer reports. Award winners are a valuable asset to their community and exemplify what makes small businesses great.
