Team24 is the fast growing healthcare recruitment company in the UK

Dec. 7, 2009 - PRLog -- Not only is Team24 16th overall, it is highest healthcare recruitment company in the league, as well as being fourth place in the South East Region.

Now in its thirteenth year, the respected annual league table ranks Britain’s 100 hundred private companies with the fastest growing sales over the past three years. Team24 secured a place in the prestigious report for the first time since the company was founded by Robert Stiff in August 2005, as a result of sales surging 134% a year from an annualised £1million in 2006 to £13.4million in 2009.

Team24 places doctors and nurses in temporary placements within GP surgeries, NHS Trusts and private hospitals and in the space of four years they are now securing 1,000 posts for doctors and nurses every week.  In 2009 Team24 invested heavily in the development of a bespoke web-based candidate management system, which has empowered the team of 38 staff, improved efficiencies, as well as strengthening repeat business and ongoing growth.

•   Team24 was founded in August 2005 by Robert Stiff as a healthcare recruitment specialist placing
   doctors and nurses in temporary placements within GP surgeries, NHS Trusts and private hospitals.

•   The company has grown from six to 38 employees and places 1000 nurses and doctors every week,
predominantly in London and the Home Counties. Team24 also has a core Out of Hours business in the Highlands & Islands of Scotland.


Sunday Times Fast Track 100
•   The Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 annual league table is compiled by Oxford-based research and events company Fast Track

•   Companies are ranked according to their annual growth rate in sales over the three financial years up to the companies’ latest available accounts; either from 2004 to 2007, or 2005 to 2008. The table excludes technology companies, which are featured in a separate league table, the Tech Track 100.

•   Companies had to be registered in the UK, unquoted and ultimate holding companies, not subsidiaries. Companies had to show an increase in sales from penultimate to latest year, and to forecast further sales growth.

•   The research was carried out by Fast Track between 1 August and 1 November 2009. All companies were interviewed by telephone, and many were visited by the Fast Track research team.
