Dec. 18, 2009 - PRLog -- The Angler’s Boutique Resort’s newest additions have been announced. First, the hotel welcomes its long awaited sidewalk outdoor café with seating under large umbrellas. Two years in the waiting, the sidewalk café is highlighted by enhanced landscaping and potted plants that give an open yet cozy view of bustling Washington Avenue. Owners Marc and Eric Lawrence have worked tirelessly to create a casual outside space that gives guests a chance to experience the busy pace of South Beach life. The café, weather permitting is quite a juxtaposition from the interior of the resort which also offers al fresco dining but in a much more intimate setting. Lush landscaping surrounds the buildings and corridors including the charming outdoor “Mermaid Lounge”. And there is always the cozy and romantic banquette lined dining room located in the main lobby as well.

Secondly is the transition of the north side of the dining room to the new lounge space. Owners Lawrence added new chair rails, bar stools, and low profile seating perfect for creating conversational groupings. Previously, said Marc, the dining room appeared more formal than we really are. This new addition captures more of the convivial feeling that our hotel guests have always enjoyed in other parts of the hotel.  It couldn’t have happened at a better time, said brother Eric, the season has just begun and already, before we were even finished, folks were drawn to the space instantly. And all of this is highlighted by a brand new menu created by Chef Giorgio Rapicavoli who has been at the helm of 660 for a year now. The menu is creatively presented without the sacrifice of sophistication or taste. Featured items like Crispy Braised Pork Belly maple, sweet potato, pecans, smoked oil, sea salt; Olive Oil Poached Piquillo Peppers goat cheese goat cheese, crispy baguette, and sea salt; Frito Misto calamari, shrimp, scallop, lemon, asparagus, lemon aioli and Twelve Hour Braised Short Ribs with porcini & truffle risotto, and port wine reduction. Prices range from $4 to $29. A new beer list also débuted as well as an Artisanal cocktail menu with nostalgic drinks such as the Amalfi Coast Basil Limoncello Martini and Strawberry Blonde Bellini. 660 at the Angler’s currently enjoys it’s rating of #15 restaurants out of 404 in South Florida on TripAdvisor with the hotel in the top three spot consistently. Service is a hallmark for The Angler’s and 660.

“Our customer satisfaction rankings are a source of great pride for The Angler’s Boutique Hotel,” said Karen Brown, VP of Marketing for Boutique Hospitality Management.  “We are steadfast in our approach to personalized, sincere guest service and value for the price paid.
