Stonehurst Place Introduces New Innkeeper

Dec. 24, 2009 - PRLog -- Stonehurst Place, Atlanta’s first eco-friendly Bed and Breakfast Inn, is proud to introduce its new innkeeper Caroline Holder.  An Atlanta-native, Holder recently co-managed a 14-room boutique inn on Amelia Island and is excited to return to Atlanta where she still has family.  Stonehurst Place, which recently celebrated its first anniversary since reopening after an award-winning renovation, is proud to welcome Holder and the passion for guest services she brings with her.

“It’s such an exciting time for us at Stonehurst Place,” said owner Barb Shadomy. “Our business continues to grow and Caroline has so many enchanting ideas and talents that will only ensure our guests continue to enjoy the very best services and experiences Stonehurst Place has to offer.”

Holder has extensive experience in wedding and special events planning, a feature many guests of Stonehurst Place will certainly be able to take advantage of. Visitors will enjoy the customized flower arrangements and delicious menu items she creates at Stonehurst Place.

Stonehurst Place, built in 1896, boasts two private rooms and three suites and has received numerous awards including the recent 2009-2010 BeadandBreakfast.com Best Urban Inn designation. After being purchased by designer/owner Barb Shadomy, the luxury B&B completed a massive renovation that included the incorporation of numerous green technologies. More than $1 million dollars was spent to restore the grandeur of Stonehurst with more than $150,000 spent on environmental elements of the renovation. The property also features several original works from artists including Andy Warhol, Dale Chihuly, Jim Dine and William Wegman.
