Follow on Google News | Freehold, NJ Chiropractor Helps Sponsor Winter Coat Drive - Baby It's Cold Outside!Dr. Russell Brokstein, Freehold Chiropractor and owner of Hometown Family Wellness Center at 9 Broadway in Freehold is holding his annual winter coat drive to help those in need.
By: Dr. Russell Brokstein, DC The Association of New Jersey Chiropractors is sponsoring “Baby, It’s Cold Outside,” a statewide coat, hat, glove and scarf drive to help New Jersey battle the cold. Anyone can drop off these items to participating chiropractors who will then deliver them to Jersey Cares, Salvation Army, Goodwill and other charitable organizations throughout New Jersey. “When we bundle up to go outside on a cold winter’s day, we take our warmth for granted. But the fact is, many New Jerseyans don’t have a good coat or other outerwear,” said Freehold Chiropractor, Dr. Russell Brokstein, DC. “Our association members have practices throughout the state and can easily collect and distribute this clothing to local organizations that will get them to the people who most need them this winter.” Dr. Brokstein's office will be accepting donations of unwanted winter apparel such as coats, hats, gloves and scarves in good condition until January 31, 2010. His office, Hometown Family Wellness Center, is located at 9 Broadway, Freehold, NJ 07728, Phone 732-780-0044. As a thank you, Dr. Russell will offer a complimentary consult (regularly valued $135) for donating to this cause. If you are not in this area and looking for another office to donate items, you can locate an ANJC member in their area by town or zip code by visiting the Association of Chiropractors website www.njchiropractors.com or calling (908) 722-5678 for more information. # # # Whether you're looking for relief from severe chronic pain, searching for ways to beat the aches and pains of day-to-day living, or seeking the "holy grail" of optimal health and peak performance, you've come to the right place.
