Laser Safety Industries created 10-130 laser eyewear to answers consumers request for more economical and durable light-weight laser glasses with exceptionally high clarity, great VLT (visible light transmission) and universal fit. The 10-130 is a light blown colored laser filer and has an optical density of 7+ from 190-400 nm, 5+ from 850-1100, 7+ at 1064 and 6+ from 10,000-11,000 nm which is idea for applications using class 4 Nd:YAG (1064 nm) and double Nd:YAG lasers (532 nm), Diode lasers (980 nm), and CO2 lasers (10,600 nm). Their eyewear may be appropriate for use with other lasers depending on wavelength and require optical density. The 10-130 also has double sided scratch resistant coating for added durability and is large enough to be used instead of laser goggles over most prescriptions. The eyewear are manufactured at their Minneapolis facility.
