Jan. 1, 2010 - PRLog -- Staff at the British regional newspaper offices of THE BRADWELL BUGLE were breathing a sigh of relief today.

The start of the year was to herald redundancies for the small team of journalists and telesales executives who work at this Essex based newspaper.

Fortunately, a deal with a glossy magazine company to distribute their title called YOUR TOWN YOUR CHOICE jointly with The Bugle has meant that advertisers have leaped at the opportunity to book long term joint placements in both publications.

"We are all delighted," said publisher DUNCAN WILLIAMS. "By offering our regular advertisers a 'bundle deal' we have attracted several major new advertisers too. While local classified newspaper advertising will always provide immediate results, the obvious benefits to larger business of a magazine placement is the increased duration of exposure."

Quality magazines like Your Town Your Choice, by their very nature, can be retained and enjoyed for several days, sometimes even weeks. The fact a local newspaper like The Bugle can now give away a free title of this caliber is a major plus for all parties concerned.

"This couldn't be better news for us," explained Duncan. " Particularly our staff and local readers, who had feared the paper might have to close following the poor advertising revenues generated during the height of last year's economic downturn."

As a result, unlike many of the UK's regional papers, THE BRADWELL BUGLE is still in business!
