State Bank of India(SBI) is recruiting 1717 Probationary Officers for its 6 Associate banks

Jan. 6, 2010 - PRLog -- State Bank of India,the largest public sector Bank of India is recruiting for its 6 associate banks to fill 1717 vacancies of Probationary Officers.SBI created a record last year with the recruitment of 11,000 clerks,the highest number to be announced by any Indian company in 2009.SBI is back with the PO recruitment (http://www.bankexamsindia.com/2009/12/sbi-po-recruitment-eligible-questions.html) at the beginning of 2010 itself.

The 1717 Officers vacancies are present in SBI`s associate banks -  State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur , State Bank of Hyderabad, State Bank of Indore, State Bank of Mysore, State Bank of Patiala & State Bank of Travancore.Candidates with 60% or more in XII std & 55% in graduation are eligibile to apply for these postions,for which the online registration process ends on January 31st 2010.

The written examination fixed on March 7th 2010 will have Objective test & Descriptive test on the same day itself.Candidates can choose upto 3 preferred banks to apply for.The shortlisted.Candidates from the written test will called for Group Discussion & Interview.The application fees has been fixed at Rs.500 for General/OBC candidates.
