Laura Kelly ‘Me and My Peeps’ Collection Now Includes ‘Carsters’

Jan. 7, 2010 - PRLog -- Artist Laura Kelly’s popular “Me and My Peeps” collection can now be found underneath that cold soda can in your car.

Together with Thirstystone, Kelly will launch Me and My Peeps ‘Carsters’ this weekend in Atlanta at the AmericasMart show, where she will also be available to sign the products Friday, Jan. 8 from 3 to 5 p.m. in the Appelman Schauban Showroom on the 18th floor of Building 2.

“A ‘Carster’ is a coaster that goes in your car and absorbs the moisture from drinks,” Kelly says. “It’s a fantastic, fun way to personalize the interior of your car.”

Me and My Peeps Carsters represent Thirstystone’s first single-package Carster product ever. A total of 16 Peeps will appear on various Carster designs, including three men, three women, three girls, three boys, two babies, one dog and one cat.

“The ‘Me and My Peeps’ collection is growing because it emphasizes and helps create family, friends and relationships,” Kelly says.

Kelly will also draw Me and My Peeps for Leanin’ Tree Sunday during the AmericasMart show. She plans to attend the CHA 2010 Winter Convention & Trade Show Jan. 22-27, and the CHA Craft SuperShow Jan. 22-23.
