Jan. 14, 2010 - PRLog -- Vicksburg will celebrate Mardi Gras in style at the 8th annual Mardi Gras Ball on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at 8:00pm in the Southern Cultural Heritage Auditorium.  This fun evening will include a cocktail buffet and cash bar.  Musical entertainment will be provided by “The Colonels”.  Advance Tickets are $35 per person and $40 at the door and are available at Paper Plus in downtown Vicksburg or by calling the Foundation at 601.636.5010.

“The Colonels”, back by popular demand, will keep the good times rolling with rock and roll from 8:00 to midnight.   They were recently named Best Country Artist 2009 by the Jackson Free Press.  “The Colonels” are five homegrown Mississippi boys out of Brookhaven with a growing fan base.  You can catch their shows all over the state.

A special $5 ticket discount is available for up to ten float participants in the Mardi Gras Parade and payment for tickets must be submitted with float application to Kim Hopkins at Vicksburg Main Street at 601.634.4527.  For more information or reservations for the Ball, please call 601.636.5010 or email vburgfoundation@aol.com.
