Lunar New Year’s Eve at Millennium Harbourview Hotel Xiamen

Jan. 14, 2010 - PRLog -- The Millennium Harbourview Hotel Xiamen has made all the preparations for the grand celebration of the Lunar New Year. On February 13, the Lunar New Year’s Eve, diners at the Millennium will host lavish feasts and countdown to the New Year.

The Loong Yuen Cantonese Restaurant receives the most popularity amongst Xiamen diners with its traditional Chinese themes and varied selection of grand banquet menus. This restaurant is recently renovated in rich colors and luxurious furnishings, perfect for a classy family dining experience.

A lucky draw with many great prizes will be held at the Loong Yuen for every diner. The traditional food favorites of this Chinese holiday are roasted suckling pig, exotic seafood, rice dumplings, Chinese “nian gao” cakes, and much more – all meticulously prepared by Loong Yuen chefs. The Portofino Italian Restaurant welcomes diners looking to enjoy Western cuisine during the New Years Eve celebrations. Celebrity chef Pippo is there to personally see to diners’ desires in creating personalized menus for their pleasure.

The Harbour Café International Restaurant has prepared a magnificent buffet with a wide variety of seafood, Western, and Chinese fair. Diners will enjoy the most exquisite cuisine selection throughout this New Year’s Eve at only CNY298.

The atmosphere of the Millennium is full of color and festive decorations to usher in the Lunar New Years. Red is the primary theme color of this holiday and symbols of happiness, fortune, and peace are to be seen throughout the hotel. Also to be seen throughout are Kumquat bushes, red tangerines, elegant Daffodils, and a great peach tree standing in the lobby center. A Lion Dance performance by a professional troupe will be held in the hotel, to further give an exciting environment.
