Pop! Goes the Icon to support Haiti earthquake relief efforts

Jan. 15, 2010 - PRLog -- On Jan. 12, a 7.0-magnitude earthquake struck just off Port-au-Prince, the capital of already suffering Haiti. The quake has caused untold physical damage and left countless people dead, injured or missing, including staff members of the United Nations mission.

Pop! Goes the Icon is asking its readers' help to contribute to relief efforts in Haiti. From now until Jan. 22, the Las Vegas-based publisher is offering pre-orders of the first issue of Omega Comics Presents, a new anthology series debuting Feb. 10, for only $3, and donating 100 percent of sales to Save the Children's emergency relief efforts in Haiti.

Save the Children provides immediate lifesaving assistance, such as food, water, shelter and child-friendly spaces to those in need in Port-au-Prince and the surrounding region.
