In conjunction with the Missionary Flight International, the Civil Air Patrol Squadrons of North Palm Beach FL152 and Lantana FL054 will manage the Haitian Relief Collection Station located at: Florida Atlantic University, 5353 Parkside Drive, Jupiter, FL 33418. Collection dates are January 16 & 17 (Saturday & Sunday) 0800 hrs - 1600 hrs. A-1 Moving & Storage of Jupiter will provide a trailer to accept goods and deliver them to Missionary Flight International located at Ft. Pierce airport. Missionary Flights International (MFI) has joined forces with Samaritan’s Purse and began earthquake relief flights to Haiti Jan. 13, using the MFI Douglas DC–3 aircraft. Since the airport in Port-au-Prince has been damaged, the aircraft must first go to Cap-Haïtien to clear customs. All Airlines have canceled flights to Port-au-Prince. More flights are planned for Thursday and the rest of the week.
