New Jersey State Trooper Wins the 2009 Corvette Dream Giveaway

Jan. 20, 2010 - PRLog -- David Melitski is a young New Jersey State Trooper with a great heart and a love for cars,
Corvettes in particular. He is emphatic that his motive for entering the Giveaway was to help
the children that are served by Kids Wish Network’s programs, never thinking that he had a real chance to win. David’s mother is a pediatric nurse so he understands the challenges sick children so often face.

Kids Wish Network is a nationally recognized charitable organization that is dedicated to
improving the quality of life for children across the United States. They work to achieve this
goal through their unique and uplifting programs.

The Corvette Dream Giveaway was created as a fundraising event to support Kids Wish
Network’s Hero program benefiting thousands of children in the care of hundreds of pediatric facilities nationwide.

David entered the Corvette Dream Giveaway four different times, with $100 donations each
time. This proved to be good karma for David and his consistency paid off when he was
announced as the winner Christmas day!!

David will be handed the keys to the one-of-a-kind Hero Edition ZR1 (serial #1 of 1) and a fully restored 1967 427 Corvette roadster by 15-year-old Dylan Ethridge, Kids Wish Network’s 2009 Hero of the Year. The Grand Prize Award Ceremony will take place at Summit Racing’s flagship superstore in McDonough, GA at noon on the 23rd of January.
