Follow on Google News | Christian Ministry Seeks to Motivate the Baby Boomer GenerationWith the Baby Boomer generation now entering retirement age have they lost their chance to bring significant positive change to the World? For Greg and Margaret Fisher the answer to that question is “No”
Many of Fisher’s Baby Boomer cohorts are looking forward to moving into a lazy retirement of travel, golf, and leisure. This is not so with Greg and Margaret Fisher. They believe that the Baby Boomer generation may be able to recapture their God given destiny. How? By recognizing that they are the greatest human resource the Church has for completing the task of the Great Commission. “Boomers are can still make a difference” asserts Fisher. “Many of us seemed to loose sight of an eternal destiny for our lives. A lot of our generation became caught up in career, raising children, and living the material success of the great American dream. We forgot about a great eternal destiny that had been set before our generation. I believe that destiny—that God given purpose for life—is still available to Baby Boomers who want to give the second half of their lives to God’s purposes.” Greg and Margaret Fisher have been in ordained Christian ministry for 40 years. They have traveled the world preaching the Gospel and motivating Christian believers to fulfill their God given purpose in life. Both Greg and Margaret are ordained by the Foursquare Church and work for a Christian ministry in Albuquerque, New Mexico. # # # Greg and Margaret Fisher have been partners together in ministry for over 44 years. Together they have traveled around the world doing ministry in more than 30 countries. Currently they live in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where they serve in a Christian ministry. The couple founded "Second Half Christians" in 2009. End
