Award Winning Actress Veronica Diaz Signs With Steve Glick Of The Steve Glick Agency

Diaz, has just returned from the set of The Gundown, staring Peter Coyote.  “I look forward to working with someone who values each client and wants to be part of their development.  This is one of the reasons Steve Glick was a top choice for me” said Veronica Diaz about her new agent.  

Diaz, the first Latin actress to be under exclusive contract at CBS is well known for being able to play a wide array of roles.  “Veronica is a unique talent that can work successfully in a drama or a comedy” said exclusively to the Hollywood Reporter CBS VP Casting Fern Orenstein.

Argentina-born Diaz has a background in acting, singing and dancing.  After competing at The International Festival of Ballet of Brazil, Veronica Diaz won a full scholarship to study at the Miami Hispanic Ballet. While in Miami, she landed a job at Univision’s top rated variety show, “Sabado Gigante.”  Also in Miami, she appeared in the play “Requiem for Yarini” which landed her an award as Best New Actress.

Diaz relocated to Hollywood where she filmed the indie  “Vatos” and other films like “The Putt Putt Syndrome.”  "The Gundown" opens on wide release in April of 2010.
