Follow on Google News | Kentucky Arts Council provides accessibility consulting servicesThe Kentucky Arts Council offers free accessibility assessments to Kentucky arts organizations in areas of programming, services and physical space through a partnership with the Kentucky Center for Performing Arts, Access Services.
Staff from the Kentucky Center's Access Services will conduct a site visit and provide an individualized assessment, focusing on compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), technology and equipment usage, marketing and promotional enhancement and opportunities for arts programming for people with disabilities. The Kentucky Center's Access Services has garnered many awards, including the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts Excellence in Accessibility Leadership Award and the MetLife / Arts Presenters Award for Excellence in Arts Access.
