Ability Commerce Releases Ability Financials 10.02

Delray Beach, FL, February 3, 2010 –Ability Commerce officially released Ability Financials 10.02 which allows direct marketers to use Microsoft® Dynamics GP for comprehensive accounting with seamless integration to back-end order management systems. Ability Commerce is a Microsoft Gold-Certified Partner software development firm.

The latest release addresses a need for faster processing of critical year-end close jobs, typically scheduled by many companies for the first calendar quarter to coincide with some US tax deadlines.

“Year-end can now be completed in less than 10% of the time previously required,” says Microsoft-certified Ability Commerce support specialist Laura Nelson. “For one large client, their year-end close ran in less than an hour. That frees up processing and staff resources for critical year-end reporting and other tasks.”

Sensitive to clients who have not yet upgraded to the latest version of Microsoft Dynamics GP, the enhancement was also packaged for use by clients running either Microsoft Dynamics GP Version 10.0 or the previous release, Version 9.0.

As with previous versions of the software, the latest Ability Financials release allows automated synchronization between Microsoft Dynamics GP and any of the off-the-shelf or home-grown order management systems used by direct-marketing companies. The specialized reporting within Ability Financials 10.02 leverages the Microsoft reporting tools to display information specifically targeted to the needs of direct-marketing executive decision makers (for example, customized snapshot views of financial data by marketing source code).
