Feb. 6, 2010 - PRLog -- The worst day in my life is when Bernie, my 10-year old Whippet, is diagnosed with a Mast Cell Tumor.  My reaction is shock, tears and anger. I feel a train hit me! How can this happen to my sweet boy?  He’s on holistic kibble and all yearly vaccinations are stopped when he is five-years-old, except for rabies.  What caused his cancer?

Our journey is written in a diary style.

·   How many Veterinarians does it take to get a correct diagnosis?
·   Whose opinion do you listen to?
·   Is chemo or radiation the best way to go or are there other options?

There are many paths to the top of the mountain!  Listen to your heart.

Real people, real stories, and advice from people on the Internet I never met. Who's Your Vet? is an informational story starting in Los Angeles, Atlanta and Florida. I do believe things happen for a reason and not by accident...there is a "master plan" for us.

Every pet parent needs this ebook.  An ebook, short for electronic book, is a computer file that forms the digital media equivalent of a conventional printed book.  It is formatted to look and read like a book and can be viewed on your computer monitor, laptop or ebook reader.

After my ordeal, and the actual office visits are not limited to cancer, I feel I can offer sound advice.

Within the 286 pages of this ebook, you'll find “Useful Resources” to shorten your research time.  Clicking on the link in the ebook will take you directly to the website.  Whether you have a dog, cat, bird or horse, cancer doesn’t discriminate. There are websites for those critters as well.  To name a few topics:

·   General information on Cancer, Mast Cell Tumors and Thyroid Cancer
·   Join Cancer, Holistic and Nutrition Groups
·   Learn what the blood and urinalysis tests mean
·   How to read pet food labels, what's really in pet food, is your pet food safe
