Cast McCoy Tyner- Original Music (Composer) Few musicians have had the impact on the world of music that 4 time Grammy winner McCoy Tyner has. His sound has influenced pianists in each of his six decades as a performer. Noted jazz critic Scott Yanow says, "Along with Bill Evans, Tyner has been the most influential pianist in jazz of the past 40 years with his chord voicing’s being adopted and utilized by virtually every younger pianist." Actor Tony Todd (Curtis “The Diabolical”) Tony Todd is a prolific American actor and producer, known for his cult status amongst horror and sci-fi fans. Todd has appeared in more than 100 screen and television films, and has played opposite many major stars in Hollywood. His movie credits include: Platoon (1986), Night of the Living Dead (1990), Candyman (1992), The Rock (1996) and Wishmaster (1997) to name a few. Actress, Suzzanne Douglas (Ms. Davis) Suzzanne Douglas is an award-winning actress with twenty-something years of silver-screen credits in films The Inkwell, Into the Woods, How Stella Got Her Groove Back, Jason’s Lyric, and Tap. She also performed a one-woman show ab[out Harriet Tubman. Actress, Irma P. Hall (Grandma Barnes) Irma Hall is an award-winning veteran American actress, who has appeared in numerous films and television shows since the 1970s. She is best known for playing matriarchal figures the films A Family Thing, Soul Food and The Ladykillers. She won the Chicago Film Critics Association Award and the Kansas City Film Critics Circle Award for Best Supporting Actress. The success of that film helped launch Hall's career as a major supporting actor in the late- 90's and early 2000s. Actor, Brandon Ruckdashel (Marty Levine) Brandon is currently starring in the HBO Cinemax series Coed Confidential, now in its fourth season. Coed has an audience of 5 million young adults and is one of the network's most popular shows. Brandon is also well known for his stage work. Anita Gates wrote about his performance in the play Ascension " 23-year-old Mr. Ruckdashel is making his Off Broadway debut and it is a stunning one. This is partly because he has the intense blond good looks of a young Brad Pitt with a soupçon of James Dean. But Mr. Ruckdashel's performance is also noteworthy because his Lorenzo vibrates with the smug and nonchalant power of youth.” In addition Brandon is a talented songwriter and performer. Actor Kirk “Sticky Fingaz” Jones (Craig Jones) Kirk “Sticky Fingaz” Jones is an American rapper, actor, and a member of the hip-hop platinum-selling group Onyx. Jones had already made the rapper-turned- Actor David Winning David loved the energy of live theater, he was eager to explore the realm of film. He auditioned for and landed several independent film roles, including his lead role in the feature film Liar's Pendulum. He recently finished portraying the role of naval Captain Mike Stewart for a Japanese-produced WWII film, Manatsu no Orion (2009), and the role of a construction site owner (Steve) for the Bollywood feature film New York (2009 - Yash Raj Films). Actor Sean Riggs –(Darrell Barnes) Sean Riggs has taken his love of acting and turned it into a career. Dennis Da Menace Actor/Rapper is probably best recognized by moviegoers while portraying Damion 'D-Roc' Butler in George Tillman, Jr.'s biopic about the hip hop star Christopher Wallace/Biggie Smalls/The Notorious B.I.G., "Notorious" (2009; starring Jamal Woolard).
