Past Life TV Show on Fox - Dual Regression

Feb. 22, 2010 - PRLog -- (Dallas, Texas) The latest installment of Past Life on Fox continues along the same lines, implying that it's common for people to have recall of past life memories in a conscious waking state. While this does happen occasionally, it is much more likely for these memories to come to the surface when the mind is in an altered state of consciousness, such as during dreams, meditation or hypnosis.

Mark V Johnon of Good Vibes Hypnosis, who specializes in Past Life Regression and Life Between Lives Spiritual Regression says, "In my experience, these memories are accessible by most people when they are in a moderate to deep hypnotic state. I have also had many clients who have been curious about their dreams, and upon exploration in hypnosis we were able to make the connection between events in dreams and past life memories. Occasionally a client may also mention potential past life recall as a result of meditation, and while it is rare, from time to time clients that possess intuitive abilities tell me about past life memories they have recalled via their intuition."

Other Past Life specialists agree with Johnson on this point, as they have had similar experiences with their clients. While it is possible for certain objects or people to trigger these past life memories, it generally takes a more intuitive person to pick upon these memories when they come to the surface.

The interesting twist in this recent episode was that 2 people who were connected in previous lifetimes were able to recall memories for these lifetimes simultaneously. Dick Sutphen, one of the foremost authorities on Past Life Regression, has written about these types of sessions before, and a Past Life Therapist who is knowledgeable about this type of dual regression should have no problem guiding a pair of clients to past lifetimes when they were together before.

"Souls tend to travel in groups from life to life and it's not uncommon to discover that those close to you in your current lifetime have been close to you in previous lifetimes, " Johnson continued. "I have had to opportunity to work with different couples who were curious about their connections with one another, and were able to access lifetimes they spent together, which created a stronger connection between them in their current lifetime."

While some aspects of the Past Life TV show on Fox are typical Hollywood, the show is opening the door to many people across the country, and providing them with the understanding that there is something to Past Life Regression. Johnson, who has a busy hypnosis practice in Dallas, Texas has had calls from as far away as Miami from people who saw the Past Life TV show and were interested in a session. "While people do travel from all over Texas as well as Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas for Past Life Regression and Life Between Lives sessions with me, when someone calls from Florida or California I refer them to friends nearby who also specialize in Past Life Regression," added Johnson.

It will be interesting to see what else they have in store for viewers in the upcoming episodes of Past Life on Fox, who knows, they may even break their own mold and decide to combine Hypnosis and Past Life Regression like many Past Life Therapists do day in and day out.
