Follow on Google News | New Issue of LINX's Internet magazine, HotLINX, now available to downloadThe latest edition of London Internet Exchange's member magazine, HotLINX21, is now available to download from the LINX website.
By: London Internet Exchange In this issue we take a detailed look at what's happening at LINX in 2010, including the latest round of member price cuts which mean that members can now peer at LINX for as little as £10 per day. In the Public Affairs section, Malcolm Hutty looks at the latest developments regarding the Digital Economy Bill while the Internet Society (ISOC) explores the implications of Internet bandwidth growth. The RIPE NCC also provide their regular HotLINX update, this time on the subject of the RIPE Labs project. Elsewhere there are articles on IPv6 and how 50 members have connected to LINX from nearly 100 different locations via the LINX from Anywhere service. Also included are details of the latest networks to have joined LINX over the last quarter. In addition, we have a feature on the LINX Network Community. This is a group made up of LINX members and Internet industry stakeholders who are kept up to date with what is happening at the exchange via the social networking sites Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. It is an exciting time for LINX with a number of new staff joining, the imminent launch of a new website design, and a move to larger head office premises in central Peterborough. The new head office address is: London Internet Exchange 2nd Floor, Trinity Court, Trinity Street, Peterborough, United Kingdom, PE1 1DA.
