Max (Austin, TX), worked on his project with Millie Shi (Sugar Land, TX) during their time at the 2009 HSMC. Their project, "Creating and Deducing Structure using Domination Numbers in Permutation Graphs," was mentored by Dr. Weizhen Gu of the Texas State University math department.

The HSMC is a six-week residential program for talented high school students who show a passion for mathematics and learning. Held on the campus of Texas State University, the camp has been running for 20 years, drawing students from across Texas and the world.
