Were You Stay At Home Mom That Is Having Employment History Issues?

Feb. 26, 2010 - PRLog -- Were you a stay at home mom having problems getting a job because of your employment history?  I was a stay at home mom for a year I finnaly got to the point where I wanted to go back to work.  

Do you know there was a lot of temp agencies that would not accept my resume or let me put in a application because I hadn't worked for six months in the last six months.  To me this is just a way to give people a hard time.  I mean come on mothers have been having and taking care of thier babies for at least the 1st year for centries.  

To me that should be considered a ligitimate job there is alot of hard work that goes into being a stay at home mom.  You still have that everyday tight schedule you have to stick to.  With the economy we are living in today, it is already not very many jobs hiring.  So to finnaly find a job that is hiring with hours that you can work and be turned down because you were a stay at home mom is very unfair.  

I feel they need to come up with a new way to aproach this issue.  Because at the end of the day we need jobs just as well as the next person.  We should not be punished for having babies and trying to take care of them fo their 1st year.
