Follow on Google News | Nokia X6 16GB on Vodafone - Nokia's New X6 Touch Screen Music PhoneThe new silver edition of the Nokia X6 has now been launched in its 16GB capacity on Vodafone deals, the Nokia X6 Silver 16GB joins the recently launched X6 Black, White and Pink 16GB models in the range.
By: Susan Hargreaves Stripping back on the memory does not mean that these two new Nokia X6 phones are any less light on features, in fact they offer exactly the same specifications as the previous X6 models just with a more affordable price tag aimed at the youth market. The biggest difference, aside from less memory than the 32GB X6 is that these two new X-Range phones do not come with the 'Comes with Music' service, this again discounts the initial price of the handset for those on a tighter budget. Even though the new Nokia X6 16GB silver and black models have less internal memory this can still be expanded by using MicroSD cards so there is no real loss overall, the main 3.2 inch touch screen display is still present as is the 5.0 mega pixel camera with high quality Carl Ziess lenses for top draw picture and video capture. Nokia X6 Silver 16GB Deals: http://www.phoneslimited.co.uk/ There are still two more colour variants awaiting launch from the Nokia X6 16GB range, these are a yellow on black model as well as a female orientated pink edition. The new Silver Nokia X6 has been initially launched on Vodafone deals, this great new music phone is already available free on contract with unlimited text messaging and unlimited internet access. The Black version ghas been launched as on Orange network exclusive and is also free on Orange pay monthly tariffs again with unlimited text and internet bundles available. These new music phones do not have too much competition in the current marketplace, from within the manufacturers own ranks the Nokia N97 mini is a good alternative for those that prefer a physical Qwerty keyboard rather than the on-screen version whilst the Nokia 5800 and Nokia 5530 are cheaper alternatives with equally good music players. Of the other manufacturers, Sony Ericsson is the only one to really have a range of dedicated music phones, these are from the Walkman series and the most recent Sony Ericsson W995 is a good contender although it does not offer a touch screen it does incorporate a better camera at 8.1 mega pixels. The new Sony Ericsson Aino does offer a touch screen but not a fully functional one, instead only certain features are present via the touch screen and the majority of text input is done through the phones slide out keypad. There is no official release date as yet for the pink edition Nokia X6 which should be a popular choice for the gadget loving ladies, this latest silver model is expected to be released onto furthe networks over the coming weeks.
