Cardon Children’s Medical Center’s Animated Website Launches

Cardon Children’s KidZone incorporates multiple interactive features and games that give an online taste of what it would be to visit Cardon Children’s Medical Center which recently opened its actual doors in late 2009. In advance of Cardon Children’s opening, Banner Health selected EMG to develop an online interactive environment for children and parents to learn about what to expect and how to prepare for a visit to Cardon’s Children’s Medical Center.

Cardon Children’s KidZone incorporates customizable characters, eight instructive and fun games and virtual video tours of the hospital with audio capabilities throughout the website’s three primary sections, including Before Your Visit, During Your Visit and After Your Visit. Each part of the visit contains educational and entertaining information on topics such as what to pack in preparation for the visit, a sneak peek of the people the patient will meet during their visit and how the patient can stay in touch with staff at Cardon Children’s after their visit. The During Your Visit experience is the centerpiece of the site, featuring all there is to do and experience within Cardon Children’s Medical Center itself, including custom games on MRIs, Xrays and other common procedures and treatments.
