Now Playing on a computer near you,” says Bill Ratner, author of “Happy Halloween: It’s A Bloody Puppet Show”, his short story that is featured in Nightblade’s March issue at niteblade.com/ The inspiration for Ratner’s tale began at a storytelling event at Windsor Mountain International in New Hampshire when he was challenged to, “make it really scary.” He performed his tale once again as a spoken work piece at the KCRW/NPR (National Public Radio) Masquerade Ball in Los Angeles on Halloween 2009. Ratner, aside from being a writer, is a professional speaker, three-time Moth Story Slam winner, and one of America’s most recognized and versatile voices. His soothing delivery, inimitable charm, wry wit, and delightful humor created a huge following of fans who remember him as “Flint” in GI Joe, Family Guy, and Robot Chicken.
