VJ Technologies announces the formation of X-ray Business Unit and manufacturing site.

March 3, 2010 - PRLog -- VJ Technologies, an industry leader in X-ray inspection products and technology headquartered in Bohemia, New York, USA, today announced the formation its new business unit, VJ X-Ray.

Building on the company’s core competency of providing custom solutions for advanced x-ray imaging applications, the new business unit will focus on development and manufacture of x-ray power-generating systems. The operation will be based in two locations: New York, USA and Suzhou, China, of which New York facility being the R&D and prototyping center, and Suzhou location as the volume production facility.

In responding to these increasing demands and taking the benefit from the matured supply chain in the China Yangtze Delta region, we are taking a strategic move in forming this business unit and expediting our production buildup.”, noted by Joseph Zhou, Director of Business Development  of X-ray Business Unit. Suzhou facility has already started shipping products since December 2009.

The IXS series x-ray generator integrates the high voltage inverter, filament supply, x-ray tube and heat exchanger into one portable, self-cooled, radiation-contained unit. Its unique design that addresses many of the reliability issues associated with the integrated x-ray generators is unparallel in the industry.

Potential uses of the IXS Series include NDT Inspection, medical imaging, security and explosive detection, food and packaging inspection, and more. Anticipating significant market growth in 2010, VJ-X-Ray continues to engage superior production methods to maximize segment growth.
