Spa And Paw Fundraising Event To Help Animal Adoption Awareness

March 9, 2010 - PRLog -- Santa Clarita, CA (March 8, 2010) Edna’s Salon and Spa announced that they will host the first “Spa and Paw” fundraiser and animal adoption event in Santa Clarita. The event will take place on Sunday March 28, 2010, from 10:00am – 2:00pm.

Pets and Pet Owners are welcome to attend this beautiful fundraising event, to be held at Edna’s Salon and Spa, located at 22934 Lyon's Avenue, Newhall, CA 91321. Activities scheduled include; Pet fashion show, animal artwork, Pet adoptions organized by Castaic Animal Care and Control, Spa and Grooming services plus pet and spa related merchandise.

The event supports Castaic Animal Shelter, helping promote animal adoptions and awareness.  "Adopting a rescue pet for your family presents a wonderful opportunity to teach your children basic values of compassion and caring, and also about the value of second chances."

Representatives for the various vendors will be available during this free event. Participants interested in grooming or spa services are encouraged to call ahead to book appointments at 661-755-6081. Services include hair, skin, nails, tanning, make-up and grooming.
