David Mandel of Curb Your Enthusiasm, Seinfeld & SNL To Host Comedy Panel at Anaheim Comic Con

March 9, 2010 - PRLog -- David Mandel, one of America's top comedic writers, producers and directors will lead a panel on comedic writing and comic books at Anaheim Comic Con on Sunday, April 18, 2010.

“I remember my days as an aspiring writer, and I would have loved the chance to get tips from someone in the business,” said Mandel. “Plus it gets me into the convention for free.”

Mandel is one of the top comedy writers in all of Hollywood. His credits include Executive Producer of Curb Your Enthusiasm, Supervising Producer and Writer for Seinfeld and Writer on 60 episodes of Saturday Night Live.

"Dave is a close personal friend, and he's funny as hell. Having him talk about comedy is a such unique opportunity for our fans and aspiring writers. To get tips from Dave will be so valuable and a really fun experience,” said CEO of Wizard Entertainment Gareb Shamus.  

The panel is free to all attendees of Anaheim Comic Con. Seating is on a first-come-first-serve basis.

As reported by Nikki Finke, Mandel’s next project is writing a screenplay for Warner Bros., The Trade, which will star and be directed by Academy Award Winner Ben Affleck.
