Cristiano Ronaldo “show” irritates Valladolid's Nivaldo

March 15, 2010 - PRLog -- The first half of the Valladolid-Real Madrid game was almost coming to an end and already Cristiano Ronaldo had his opponents frustrated. Brazilian defender Nivaldo could not resist the temptation and stepped on the Portuguese when he was on the floor. Manager Valdano complains about hard tackling on CR9

The Director General of Real Madrid, Jorge Valdano, complained of repeated harsh tackles that target Cristiano Ronaldo during his Real Madrid games. As the video below shows the Portuguese star was marked in the leg after being deliberately stepped on by Valladolid defender Nivaldo.

"Its important to analyze what the opponents do to Cristiano. It is difficult to cause him a lot of damage because he is very strong. Besides that, he is capable of supporting that and more," said the Argentine leader.

The Portuguese international, 25, has already been sent off twice this season, once after receiving a direct red card for an alleged foul on Mitiliga. A situation that led to several complaints from Real Madrid, noting that CR9 has to cope with many fouls and provocations when he enters the field.
