Spring Is The Season To Celebrate Moms!

March 18, 2010 - PRLog -- Spring has sprung and Mother’s day is right around the corner.  We are all familiar with the roles and jobs a mom has and it seems more and more today, the word mom truly means ‘Master Of Multitasking’.  Moms are continuing to manage it all and this is definitely the season to celebrate them and what they have accomplished.

While people are still skeptical about the economy making its come-back, mom-owned businesses seem to be flourishing, proving the skeptics wrong this year.  Most mompreneurs have family inspired businesses because that is with whom they spend their days, hours and minutes with.  Shoppers today are buying for the family and from people they know, so all the more reason why mom-owned companies are successful.
“We are very fortunate today as women and mothers to have many choices and the support to go along with them. I, like many of my fellow mompreneurs, discovered the personal and professional fulfillment of doing both- working and being home with my children. Being pregnant and becoming a mom inspired all of us to pursue our business dreams and develop the right product and niche to make it a successful venture. So, we wanted to share our companies and products/services locally to those who may not be aware of who we are just yet!” explains Katie O’Neill, owner of Kt Steppers.

According to Katie, she and her fellow ‘mompreneurs’ decided to celebrate Moms and host a Spring Boutique Party in honor of Mother’s Day.  All of the women hosting this party are stay at home moms with amazing companies and products.  At this Boutique Party, women will be able to shop & learn from home consultants for Tastefully Simple and Entertaining at Home, check out attire for expectant moms with Hot Mama Gowns, peruse educational and informational dvd’s from Express Yourself Baby.  In addition, stationery and labels for the whole family and every occasion will be displayed by Freckles & Speckles Designs, and more gifts for the girls with hair accessories and holders will be available from The Polka Dot Crab.  For the mind, body and soul a free Yoga class(2pm) and information will be given by Trinitas Yoga, and finally unique and custom steppers (step stools) hand-painted and made by Kt Steppers.  Specials and discounts will be announced as well.

“All of us hosting support each other and want to help spread the word about our companies.  What better way to do this then to host a Shopping Party in the comfort of a home!  We are all home-based, so it only seemed fitting” said Katie O’Neill whose house is the first to host this Boutique Party.

Hoping for a successful turnout, Mompreneur Boutique Parties will be great for seasonal and holiday shopping parties and for getting local families, even retailers,  aware of some great companies and products that might just be in their very own neighborhood.
