PowerSines LEC Saves 20% - 35% Electricity at Statoil Petrol Stations

PowerSines technology was first deployed at Statoil petrol stations in Latvia. For each petrol station one LEC unit controlled the lighting for the entire facility. LEC provides continuous savings of 20%-25% at convenience stores, which are typically operating 24/7. The dual operation and automatically switches canopy lights on and off using the built-in astronomic clock which generates an additional 7%-10% savings on electricity during nighttime operation hour and assures electricity is not wasted during daylight hours.  

The system installs easily at the electric panel and works with any existing infrastructure, without requiring any reconstructions or changes. Together with the above benefits, LEC provides stabilization of voltage to the station, resulting in extended lamp lifetime and a reduction of maintenance costs.
