Bats are most active during the spring and summer months, the reason behind this is due to the birthing season that starts around April. During this time they are giving birth in their roosting sites and people are able to hear their activity. Then the bats will raise their young in the roosting sites throughout the summer and the babies will become mobile in the latter part of July. During this period homeowners will see droppings and hear high pitch vocalization coming from the roosting site.
