CCLP Worldwide Announces First-of-its-kind World Congress On Higher Education In Nigeria

March 26, 2010 - PRLog -- The CCLP Worldwide – a global civil society organization working mainly for the education of unprivileged youth and having strategic alliance with the India Federation of International Parliament of Safety and Peace  which is accredited and affiliated to the International Parliament of Safety and Peace (IPSP) Italy, announces its maiden annual World Congress on Higher Education and Sustainability in Abuja Nigeria on 21 and 22 June 2010.

The international conference is probably the first ever of its kind in the world, synergizing between Higher Education and its Sustainability, and is expected to attract global attention from all quarters of the society – academics, governmental bodies, statutory organizations, policy and decision makers, industries, electronic and print media among others. The two-day congress will highlight  the role of higher education as a strategic factor for human and social development and would analyze the interchange of values between higher education institutions and society.
The event coined as “Nigeria 2010”, deems to be the catalyst to the leading voluntary and membership meetings for over thousands representatives/members of NGOs, government, business and support agencies of the region.
The World Conference is a reflection of the Educational Charter International envisoned by CCLP Worldwide and other state and non-state actors worldwide which fosters integral human development through the emphasis on education. The international charter being practised, is drawn from the declaration of higher education for 21st century by UNESCO and the Ten principles of United Nations Global Compact and Declaration of Higher Education for sustainable better livelihood. The Education Charter International is endorsed by citizens of 110 Countries.
