March 30, 2010 - PRLog -- On March 15, 2010 Charlotte Robertson received the National Association of Realtors® certification as a Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource.  Realtors® that receive this must attend special training and pass an exam to receive the SFR designation.  Charlotte passed her exam with a 100%.  Due to the number of short sales and foreclosures in the current market place, it was determined that more education was needed to assist the consumer in this very complicated process.

Many people that are in trouble on their homes don't know there is a better way than foreclosure.  Not only do foreclosures hurt the homeowner's, but they hurt the resale value of other neighborhood homes.  Short sales are less damaging on a homeowner's credit and homeowner's are able to buy another home in a much shorter time than after a foreclosure.  There is help out there for people in distressed situations.

Her real estate partner, Brittany Carnahan, is also in the process of obtaining her certification.

For more information on what a short sale is versus a foreclosure, Charlotte Robertson may be contacted at 406-461-0042 or Brittany Carnahan can be contacted at 406-465-2844 or you can e-mail them at agents@montanasmostwantedproperty.com.  You may also visit their website at http://www.MontanasMostWantedProperty.com or go to http://www.AvoidForeclosureMT.com.
