Ratner, together with a group of other master reader-writers, will read a new short story based on the theme “Loose Words”. The Word Space evening, similar to storytelling at The Moth, is intended to amuse, inspire, and mesmerize, with unique life stories and imaginative points of view. Ratner, aside from being a professional speaker, veteran storyteller, and three-time Moth Story Slam winner, is also one of America’s most recognized and versatile voices. His soothing delivery, inimitable charm, wry wit, and delightful humor created a huge following of fans who remember his Flint character in GI Joe, Family Guy, and Robot Chicken. Currently, he is the voice for numerous movie trailers, TV networks, and affiliate stations around the U.S. His short stories and essays are published in Pleiades Press, Cheng Kung Literary, Southern Journal, Papier Mache, Nightblade, Spork, Marquee, and Coast Magazine. He lives in Los Angeles, CA, and owns three bicycles in various states of disrepair. More about Bill Ratner can be found at billratner.com.
