Follow on Google News | Blessed Sacrament School to compete for Pepsi Refresh GrantBlessed Sacrament School is competing for a $25,000 grant through the Pepsi Refresh Project to fund the school's first set of bleachers in 85 years.
By: Kim Hoffmann Blessed Sacrament is competing under Education at the $25,000 level, which will offset a portion of the $40,000 cost of the school's first set of bleachers. Anyone 13 years of age or older can vote each day during the month of April. Blessed Sacrament School must be one of the top ten finishers to secure the grant. The Pepsi Refresh Project will be awarding $1.3 million each month to fund ideas in six categories throughout 2010 to groups throughout the country, and hopefully Blessed Sacrament School will be one of them.
