How to convert DVD to iPad, put DVD on iPad (FREE)

This guide shows the way for converting DVD to iPad, iPod and iPhone video formats. The following solution works for iPod, iPhone and Apple TV as well.

Part1. Rip DVD to hard drive
1. Download DVD decrypter and free iPad converter from http://www.dvdtoipad.com/ , install it to your computer and run it.
2. Place the DVD you want to rip your video from into your DVD drive.
3. Go to the Mode menu and select IFO I mode. This will give you access to two new tabs; Input & Stream Processing.

4. Go to the Tools menu, select Settings, go to the IFO tab, then under Options, change File Splitting to None and press OK.
5. Go to the main screen and click the Stream Processing tab. Enable it and only select the first video listed. Note that home encoded movies do not support subtitles of any kind and that your file can only have one type of audio.
6. Start ripping.

Part 2: Convert ripped video to iPad
7. Download free iPad Video Converter from http://www.dvdtoipad.com/ and launch. Press 'Convert' button, and click 'Video File' link.
8. The iPod Converter freeware has two ways of converting videos, Normal Mode and Power Mode. The former can only be used online, while the latter can be used both online and offline. Let's take Power Mode for example.
9. Click the "Select File" button to choose the video you want to convert. If you want to change the location of where your converted video will be located, click the "Browse" button.

10. If you want to change the title of your converted video, edit the "Title" text box. If you want to access another device's profiles, change the "Device" combo box. Select the encoding settings you want by picking an existing or custom profile.
To start your conversion, click the "Start Converting" button.
