Cristiano Ronaldo scores and Real Madrid beat Almeria

April 15, 2010 - PRLog -- Real were trailing once again, but a goal from Cristiano Ronaldo led the turnaround in the game.

Despite being overtaken by super Barcelona’s Messi and company, Real Madrid is not giving up the fight that easily.

The task does not seem to be easy, but Cristiano Ronaldo, as evidenced today, did not lose hope and promises to fight to the end of the championship.

In their visit to Almeria, where Real Madrid played to a draw last season, the team led by Chilean Manuel Pellegrini once again started the game in the worst way possible.

At 14 minutes of the first half, Crusat opened the scoring for the home team following a pass from Uche. However, the determination and the art of Cristiano changed things around for the “Merengues”.

Still in the first half, at 27 minutes, Cristiano Ronaldo the Portugal international received the ball in the Almeria midfield, overtook several opponents with lightening speed and scored a cross goal with his left foot.

Real Madrid continued in search of a goal advantage, particularly by Cristiano Ronaldo. In the second half Higuain assisted Dutchman Van der Vaart and the midfielder with a great shot from outside the area,  beat Brazilian goalkeeper Diego Alves, who played an excellent game, giving a well deserved victory to Real Madrid.

"Real Madrid will never surrender" - Cristiano Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo, promised that "everything will be done to try to win the Spanish championship, because a club like Real Madrid will never surrender".

"We had to give a good response after the match against Barcelona. We did not have a fantastic match, but managed to win, what was the most important", stressed Ronaldo.

Cristiano, the Madeira Island native, also left a message of hope to supporters of the "merengues": "A club like Real Madrid will never surrender".

Barcelona, who won yesterday's home game against Deportivo La Coruna 3-0, is in first place overall with 80 points, followed by Real Madrid in second place, three points behind.
