Follow on Google News | Can Icelandic Ash Be Turned Into Cash?Although this title suggests a humorous consideration, it can be an inspiration for a lucrative business.
By: Askin Ozcan from other countries. Many years ago, I had seen in a London gift shop, cans ( the same size as soft drink cans) with "London Air" written on them, selling for a pound. I asked the proprietor how they were selling. He told me that they were selling more than the picture post-cards! I thought, if one produced such cans with "Icelandic Ash" in them, they might be equally lucrative, as a gift item! Cash for "ash"? Why not ? Especially in such days when it is the most needed in Iceland. I shall convey this idea to the authorities in Iceland to alert them to turn the Icelandic Ash into "cash"! It can be very attractive gift item to sell in the gift shops in Iceland, and for that matter even in all the Scandinavian countries. Imagine buying a can of Icelandic ash in the plane, while coming back from your trip to Iceland. (It is a lovely country with a lot of beautiful natural scenery with exciting cities like Rejkavik and Keflavik and many beautiful girls. Iceland has an advanced artistic and cultural life, with fishing as her main business. And the canned "Icelandic Ash" might just prove to be a very hot item for tourists. I would buy a can of it. It is, after all, my idea! --- I shall ask a business friend of mine in Stockholm about the feasibility of this idea. How much it would cost to produce such a gift item. It must be honest and the cans must certainly contain the original Icelandic Ash. No need to hurry with the production, as the previous eruption of the volcano has lasted thirteen months. The production can start within short and good stocks of the canned "Icelandic Ash" can soon fill the gift shops in Iceland and in the neighbouring Scandinavian countries as well. I hope the businessman who will use my idea will think of giving me a commission, when he makes money. Once I had given a beautiful Russian girl similiar business ideas and she applied them all and they made millions with my ideas with no "dollar" for me. Details of these business are described in my book "STOCKHOLM STORIES" - ISBN 1425771629 (Xlibris) available at 200 internet bookshops including www.amazon.com, www.adlibris.com, www.infibeam.com, www.flipkart.com, www.fishpond.com.au, www.loot.co.za Perhaps I should patent my idea, so nobody can steal. --- Askin Ozcan is the author of two extremely humorous books titled "THE SECOND VENICE" -ISBN 1598000888 (Outskirts Press) and "WISDOM IN SMILE" - ISBN 142577153X (Xlibris) and also of "SMALL MIRACLES" - ISBN 1598001000 (Outskirts Press) ; "LIGHTNING AND A BOUQUET OF ROSES" - A poetry book with two award winning poems - ISBN 1424111870 (Publish America) and THE MINI-SUBMARINE - ISBN 978-1- (Global wholesale distribution by www.ingrambook.com) --- Stockholm Based Author Askin Ozcan - A New Name In International Markets Press-release: http://www.prlog.org/ Author's web-page: www.xlibris.com/ http://www.prlog.org/ http://www.prlog.org/ # # # Author.
