Facebook for Business - Social Media's New Major Player

April 19, 2010 - PRLog -- Plugged.it is changing the way that we look at Social Networking.   Twitter, facebook are great tools, but sorting through the posts on who won which game and automated advertising posts to find something of real interest is often extremely time consuming.  Networking is an important tool for SME and Plugged.it has all the elements needed to create your instant online presence, promote (or plug) your offers, events and blogs. 

Google have changed their search algorithms for 2010 and have put emphasis on site speed and social networking links, so having a good social network platform is a must.  Plugged.it  is live in beta stage, there has been some changes already, like more fields for business information, removing listed emails to combat email harvesting bots (spam collectors), but nothing that affects the functions of the site.  In its first 10 days it has had over 24,000 page views, a new phenomenon is coming.

Ashley Allen has been using this to great effect, he has used 'My Apps' very well, and if you look at his profile you will see a great use of Plugged.it, using the tools/apps as much as you can will create more interest in your profile and encourage people to add you as a contact/friend. 

Plugged.it  gives it's members maximum exposure, every edition, update, blog, event, album or status change you make, goes to the top of the home page, for everyone to see, both people you are connected too and those you are not, even guests!

Over the next few weeks Plugged.it will be adding integration with Twitter and Facebook, with the intent that people will spend longer and longer on Plugged.it as they can manage all of their major network accounts from one hub. Comments and suggestions are welcomed from current and potential users to make Plugged.it an ideal and user friendly Networking Platform.
