April 21, 2010 - PRLog -- PMO Perspectives, a new blog for project management office directors and other senior PM professionals, has launched at http://www.esi-intl.co.uk/blogs/pmoperspectives.  The blog meets the need for more information resources dedicated to senior PM professionals.

Leveraging the insights provided by ESI International’s global client roster, the blog will feature writers from ESI instructors, subject matter experts, executives and special guests. Initial post topics include:
•   saving PMOs from failure,
•   key skills and competencies for PMO directors,
•   justifying the PMO to the CFO and
•   and reporting to senior management.

“The recent economic pressures have increased senior management’s focus on the role of project management and the executives that lead it,” said John Elsey, President & CEO, ESI. “PMO Perspectives enables us to share the insights we have as the largest PM learning provider in the world, with the greater PM leadership community.”

The blog is an extension of ESI’s Centre of Excellence, an invitation-only program run in the UK and Europe to facilitate networking and learning for senior project/programme management executives. Members do not need to be ESI clients.  For more information or to request an invitation to the Centre of Excellence visit: http://www.esi-intl.co.uk/blogs/pmoperspectives/index.php....

“There are plenty of online resources for project managers,” said Nadine Pincemin, Director of Marketing – EMEA, “but very few for senior PM executives. The popularity of our CoE program continues to validate the need for more senior level networking and information resources.”
