Laugh & Learn Locally or Online with Minnesota's Funny Lady, Pat Dennis

April 26, 2010 - PRLog -- Best-selling author, Pat Dennis trains speakers, engages the media and has laughed her way through over 1,000 performances. Tuesday, April 27th, the public is encouraged to enjoy her gentle, good-natured and clean comedy routines which utilize classic stand-up combined with audience participation, and learn why her fiction and humor appear in Minnesota Monthly, Woman’s World, The Pioneer Press and more.

Dennis is the third author in the Northwest Regional Library’s Spring Author Expo, featuring seven authors, at seven libraries, over seven weeks. Her visit begins with two school programs in Greenbush and Middle River on the topic, “Where’s the Mystery Around Here?”

At 5 PM, the public is invited to attend a free writer’s workshop on the topic, “Die Laughing: Writing the Humorous Mystery.” Learn the strategies that will help you write humor and mystery to capture the attention of readers, publishers and media program directors.
