Castle Windows Carpenters Give a Helping Hand to Gloucester County Habitat for Humanity Project

Habitat for Humanity gets a big help from Castle Windows in Gloucester County, as they help to rebuild some of the homes of working families.

May 7, 2010 - PRLog -- (Englewood Cliffs, NJ- May 7, 2010) Six skilled carpenters employed by the northeast region’s leading window and door company, Castle Windows, lent their talents assisting the Gloucester County’s Habitat for Humanity.  Encouraged by Castle Windows to take part in the build, the carpenters volunteered to help install windows and overall carpentry for the project.

The two-part Habitation Celebration Build was held April 17, 2010.  Four of twelve new homes were dedicated to working families in the town of Clayton. After a small ceremony, the men began work on the final phase of Len Blow Court. The Castle Window workers were credited with helping to surpass expectations of what could be accomplished in one day.

Gloucester Mayor Jeff Radio thanked the workers and Castle Windows “for supplying the windows and their installation to the largest Habitat for Humanity project in Gloucester County”.
“Castle Windows has always looked for ways to give back to the community and we foster that tremendous spirit of volunteerism in our workplace,” said Castle Windows President Christopher Cardillo.  “From our Toys for Tots program to our Easter basket donations, our employees are always ready to give their time, energy and talents to those in need.”

With the help and donations of Castle Windows, a philanthropic business, Habitat for Humanity was able to build homes for four families. With a little bit of help from everyone, it is possible to help create better circumstances for people in need.
