IAQ Video Network Releases New Video from the Phoenix IAQA Chapter Workshop

May 11, 2010 - PRLog -- Paul Cochrane, the founder of both the IAQ Video Network and Cochrane & Associates was recently asked to come speak at the May 11th IAQA Phoenix Chapter Workshop about ways to market your IAQ business in a recovering economy. The IAQ Video Network took this opportunity to report on the IAQA Phoenix Chapter.

Since the IAQ Video Network is based in Phoenix they didn’t have far to go to reach the Phoenix Airport Marriot in the heart of the Phoenix metropolitan area.  Approximately 40 local members were in attendance.   Derrick Denis, the Phoenix Chapter Director from Clark Seif Clark informed the members of the latest chapter news and national association updates before introducing the speakers.

Attendees first heard from Babak Emami from the Arizona Division of Occupational Safety and Health.  He covered issued regarding ADOSH, OSHA and how their department operates to protect workers.  Paul Cochrane had the opportunity to enlighten the attendees with information about how they can market their IAQ businesses utilizing the latest technologies such as social media, online videos and press releases.  John Butler, from the Central Arizona Project, wrapped up the presentations as he discussed hearing conservation for remediation and restoration contractors.

Local IAQA members in attendance asked great questions of the presenters and walked away with new insights into three important aspects of their jobs, but not before being treated to a great lunch and networking opportunity.
