The All-New MonroeWorld Gaming Portal Announced

May 12, 2010 - PRLog -- Video game portal MonroeWorld.com today announced the launch of the latest iteration of its online gaming community.  The re-branded portal and additional services coincide with the merging of two of its game-related podcasts, Dual Screen Radio and Wii Minute Radio into one cross-platform show, the MonroeWorld GameCast.

In addition to the new podcast, the portal unveiled its new Nintendo Game Manager service.  NGM provides a comprehensive Nintendo DS, Nintendo Wii, DSiWare, and WiiWare game database in addition to list managers, friend code sharing, tournaments, and other services that enhance the Nintendo gaming experience.  Among the unique features offered is the Amazon Price Alert system, by which gamers can “name their price” for games they’re interested in and be alerted via e-mail when the game falls under the selected price at Amazon.com.

Among other recently introduced services are featured articles and other written content from the MonroeWorld staff as well as a free blogging service for members to create their own content on MonroeWorld.com.  The new portal also continues to provide gamers with services already familiar to longtime MonroeWorld members such as a discussion forum, real-time chat, and the popular MonroeWorld FAQ which includes helpful information on a wide range of topics not limited to video games.

MonroeWorld.com also serves as the home of Shane R. Monroe’s Passenger Seat Radio the social commentary podcast which takes you along on the host’s thirteen mile commute to and from work.  PSR covers a range of topics as seen through the eyes of one of the internet’s longest running and most celebrated podcasters.
